A client came very emotional to a coaching session. He was leading the purchasing department in a big corporation and his new boss insisted on being present at all the meetings with the suppliers. He told me that his old boss had to leave the company because he was corrupt and had done side business with the suppliers. In which my client was not involved. For him, the request of the new boss to be present at the meetings was a clear sign. “He didn’t trust me! He believes I was involved in the corrupt side business of my former boss.” My client had several conversations with his boss, but he still insisted on being present at the meetings. “I cannot work with my boss when he doesn’t trust me! I will leave the company!“.

I invited him to take a look at the dynamics of the system. To the system, belonged, of course, the client, his new boss and the suppliers. But also, the old boss! Even though he had left the company, he was still affecting the collaboration and the dynamic in the system.  My client gave a place to all the elements and could recognize and feel the dynamic in the system by stepping into all the positions. His own, his boss’s, the old boss’s, and the supplier’s. Stepping into the supplier’s position, he realized a strong pull to continue the corrupt business. He realized he would make his position much stronger when he INVITED his new boss to all the meetings. To make it very clear – we are playing a new game!! The rules have changed!

When my client came back for the next coaching session after some weeks, I asked him how his relationship with his boss was. And he said – Perfect! Was there a problem?

Our perspective matters

Reframing our perspective allows us to see problems from different angles, which can help us to identify new possibilities and solutions that we may not have considered before. When we are able to see problems in a more positive light, we are more likely to feel motivated and empowered to take action. This can lead to greater success in all areas of our lives.

Systemic Constellation work is a space for emergence and recognition.

Systemic constellation work is a powerful tool for personal and relational transformation, helping you to contribute positively to the future you envision.

It’s a transformative practice that allows all elements within a system to emerge and be recognized. By stepping into the various positions within the constellation, individuals can experience and understand the dynamic interplay of relationships and forces at work. This approach provides a unique and powerful way to gain insights, promote balanced relationships, and facilitate growth.

In systemic constellation work, the facilitator helps the client set up a representation of their issue or system. This might include family members, colleagues, or abstract elements like emotions or concepts. Representatives, either people or objects, are placed in the space to embody these elements. Once the constellation is set up, the facilitator invites all elements to emerge naturally. This means allowing the representatives to move, speak, or express themselves freely. The goal is to observe and understand the underlying dynamics without imposing preconceived notions or judgments.

A key aspect of systemic constellation work is the ability to step into the different positions within the system. Participants may take turns embodying various elements, gaining a direct, experiential understanding of each perspective. This process can reveal hidden dynamics, unresolved conflicts, and deeper truths, that liberate the entire relationship dynamic.

Benefits of Systemic Constellation Work:

1. Holistic Understanding: By engaging with all elements of a system, participants can achieve a more holistic understanding of their issues. This comprehensive perspective can lead to more effective solutions and deeper personal growth.

2. Emotional Release and Healing: Experiencing and expressing emotions within the safe space of a constellation can facilitate emotional release and healing. This process helps to resolve lingering pain and fosters a sense of peace and acceptance.

3. Empowerment and Clarity: Recognizing the dynamics within a system empowers individuals to make informed decisions and take proactive steps towards positive change. Gaining clarity about one’s role and influence within a system can enhance confidence and motivation.

4. Strengthened Relationships: Systemic constellation work can improve relationships by fostering empathy and understanding. By seeing and feeling things from multiple perspectives, participants can develop more compassionate and supportive connections with others.

Systemic constellation work offers a unique and powerful way to explore and understand the dynamics within a system. By allowing all elements to emerge and stepping into various positions, participants can gain profound insights and emotional clarity. This practice not only promotes healing and growth but also empowers individuals to create more harmonious and fulfilling relationships.

Embrace the opportunity to engage in systemic constellation work and experience the transformative potential it holds. By recognizing and feeling the dynamics at play, you can achieve deeper understanding, healing, and positive change in your life and relationships.
