He is a dedicated Zen practitioner\, sitting daily at Mokushozen-ji in Bucharest (Romania) and Shorin-ji in Villanueva de la Vera (when in Spain). David was born and raised in New York City\, holds a Masters degree in Finance from New York University\, is pursuing studies in psychedelic-assisted therapy\, and lives in Bucharest since 2020. He weaves together the intelligence of the body with the wisdom of the land. His work invites slowness\, sensitivity\, and honest presence. \n\n\n\nProgram\n\n\n\nWe’ll meet on Friday\, July 11\, at noon and we’ll walk together to the location. Be prepared to walk about 30min-1 hour on lightly rugged mountain terrain\, carrying your backpack. Once arrived at the location\, we’ll set up camp and open our retreat with a ceremonial sharing circle. The detailed activities will be announced to those who register. The retreat will end on Sunday\, July 13\, in the afternoon. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLogistics\n\n\n\nThe retreat is taking place in Peștera/Măgura area\, jud. Brașov\, Romania. Our camp base will be in nature\, close to a houshold (available only for food storage and administrative items). We will sleep under the stars\, staying outdoor as much as possible. We will take care of bringing food\, and of course\, you can bring your own favourite snack. Food will be simple but nourishing – we will make fire and cook together.
